Following the success of his 2015 tour “Blue Neighbourhood”, singer-songwriter and actor Troye Sivan has returned to London with a sold out show at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. The show was part of his on-going European tour for his latest album titled “Bloom” which features collaborations with popular artists, such as Ariana Grande and Charlie XCX, and reached upwards of 10th place in the UK album charts and number one in his home country, Australia.

The show opened with an energetic performance delivered by Sivan’s opening act and friend Leland, an American musician who is notable for writing songs for well-established singers such as Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter and co-writing most of Sivan’s songs in both his current and previous album.

Sivan has also recently starred in the biographical drama, Boy Erased based on author, Garrard Conley’s memoir of the same name depicting his experience at a Love in Action conversion camp in the early 2000s. The film, directed by Joel Edgerton, stared Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman Russell Crowe, as well as Edgerton. The singer also co-wrote a song for the film with Leland called “Revelation” which was later nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song at the 76th Golden Globe Awards earlier this year.
