Each year we witness ourselves making new year resolutions to only see it last for the next week or two. We often don’t release how quickly we forget about our goals and ambitions for the new year until reaching the next year and restarting this sad cycle of failure. Well there is a way to finally put an end to your failed goals and targets.

It all starts with keeping it simple. Me must make our new year resolutions clear and simple for us to follow during the year. Our lifestyles don’t always allow us to work on everything, so you got to concentrate on one or two goals that you can find time and dedication to follow. This is also why you must choose carefully. You must choose a goal you really feel passionate about and a goal that will have the largest impact on your happiness, lifestyle and health that would give you a sense of pride after successfully achieving it. Also, you must keep realistic about your plan. Don’t escape reality and focus on goals that are possible to meet. It’s good to be optimistic but also realistic to avoid disappointment and failure.

To be successful it would be useful to break down your goals to manageable chunks. This is quite essential to your journey because planning your goals carefully increases the probability of you reaching it at the end. Note down exactly what you want to achieve and what you must do every day till you succeed. You can even invest into a little calendar or diary to keep track of your progress. It’s also important to treat yourself after reaching certain milestones to keep you going however you must be careful not to fall into a trap and ruining your progress and hard work.

The most important factor of success is having control over your own life. Whenever you feel like quitting you must remember and ask yourself who is really in charge of your body and mind. You must learn self-discipline and train you mind to be stronger and never give up.
