Osterley Park. Is not just any park, this beautiful and intriguing park has many features and activities to explore, ranging from celebrating the festive holidays such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween, or to taking a relaxing leisurely stroll through the green with the breath-taking views along the way. It captivates true beauty in its purest form, nature. Osterley park is not only humongous but also has one of the largest open spaces in London. This spacious park lies between Osterley, Isleworth, Heston, Hounslow, Norwood Green, Southall, Hanwell, Ealing and Brentford, in the London Brough of Ealing and Hounslow. Osterley Park is operated by the National Trust.

Osterley Park has many events and features to explore and enjoy such as Osterley House, the gorgeous lake, a park for kids to enjoy, a farm that supplies fresh produce from the park, the animals (cows, horses, sheep, different types of birds etc…), the café, the fields and many more. Osterley park also offers a number of fun activities throughout the year such as movie showings, Easter egg hunting and the Hallowe’en Pumpkin festival. This park is not only to be enjoyed by induvials but everyone of all ages, there is always something for anyone and everyone to do or participate in.

Not only is it stunning and enticing but the people you meet couldn’t be more friendly, Osterley Park is always filled with delightful smiles and joyous people. Osterley park has many interesting facts about it, such as the many television series filmed in this location one of them being many episodes from Horrible Histories. Or some films which used the grounds of Osterley Park you may have heard of some such as: The Grass Is Greener, The Young Elizabeth, Top Secret and The Dark Knight Rises. Osterley park has also been featured in literature and a video game.

Growing up going to this absolutely magical park couldn’t have been more thrilling for me, and I am fortunate enough to live within a few minutes walking distance away. It is one part of Osterley that I believe truly represents us and the history behind it.
