Kim Kardashian, Bradley Cooper, this is not Hollywood, this is Gravesend. As you entered the Woodville Halls on the 28th of October you were treated to not only the celebrities, you were also greeted with your very own red carpet. The doors opened and you took your seat in front of billowing red curtains, of which I would call west end worthy. From seven thirty onwards the audience were roller coastered  through many of films greatest songs. From Austin Powers to Suicide Squad there was such an array of talent on show. Brenda Grant an audience member said, "the professionalism of the young people was amazing to see and to have it right in your town is such a treat".

The show was put on by The Centre Stage Theatre Academy, on this night Gravesend, St Georges and Medway academies exhibited their work, the very next day would see Bromley and Bexleyheath academies descended upon the Woodville to showcase their own works. Olivia Williams from Gravesend academy called it " brilliant fun and it was amazing to see the audience with their hands in the air, but god it was hard work".

Centre Stage puts on two shows a year for the public, plus their Summer Youth Project open to those outside of the Centre Stage group and each one is full of song ,dance and really should not be missed.
