A-Levels are getting tougher every year. 1000s of 16 – 18 year old students are getting stressed due to an overwhelming amount of difficulty being put upon them though their studies. A- Levels are marked harder and harder every year, many students simply say they cannot cope. Speaking to students around this time period, a week or two before the exams begin; I find out that students wish they were warned about the large leap from GSCE to A- Levels.

“Mitosis isn’t even what we learnt GSCE, that wasn’t even a simplified version – it was simply false!” Screamed a student studying biology A Level. Are exam boards trying to make teenagers miserable or is a challenge a good thing for British students?
