Back in February, pop sensation – Pink Pantheress held her largest concert at Alexandra Palace - fondly known as 'Ally Pally' -  holding 10,000 loyal fans. Her rise to fame since 2021 has been nothing but extraordinary for the young Gen Z star – collaborating with rap sensation Ice Spice with their hit song ‘Boy’s a liar Pt.2’. As a young Black Brit, the star has pulled her musical inspiration from a multitude of genres such as garage, rnb and pop – bringing the different aspects of her identity together. As a native Londoner, this was somewhat a full circle moment for the singer – finding herself performing not too far from where she grew up, with some young fans even coming from her secondary school.

With a largely Gen Z fanbase, the concert hall was full of youthful faces – bringing a great energy and excitement to the crowd, with this being a first concert for many. Doors opened in the early evening at 6:30, with Pink Pantheress not to come on stage until 8pm - so crowds were kept entertained with a DJ – playing hit songs from the 90s up until now. When the hit singer did come on stage, she came with a wonderful stage presence and extravagant back up dancers performing alongside her.

Transport-wise, getting to and from the venue proved slightly more difficult for public transport users due to the swarms of crowds trying to get on trains to various areas of London, and each one being highly busy. However, the crowds were polite and ensured the safety of each individual.

In whole, the night was a great success, for both the star and the audience and the career progression of Pink Pantheress certainly is one to look out for as she rises further into stardom.
