One Greenwich resident may be a millionaire and not even know it after a winning lottery ticket was identified in the borough.

The National Lottery say a £1,000,000 winning lottery ticket remains unclaimed in Greenwich after one punter struck gold on EuroMillions.

The 'UK Millionaire Maker' prize was drawn several weeks ago on Tuesday, June 1, and the National Lottery are now looking for the player yet to pick up their prize.

The winning code on the ticket which was borough in Greenwich was ZMFD 00211 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 28 November 2021 to claim their prize.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery said, “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

A winning ticket bought in Lewisham dating back to January is also still unclaimed, with 14 of July the last chance to claim that one.
