In our school many students have noticed how the radiators aren’t always turned on, many students find this unfair as we are not allowed to wear coats when it is cold during lessons. Recently we had a heat wave, and what many students were surprised to see, some of the radiators in the school were turned up. Having the heating on when it is hot outside makes the classrooms very humid, which impacts our ability to focus on our work.
What many of the students talk about is how it costs the school too much to keep the heating on when it is not necessary, they should focus on having the radiators on during the winter or when it is cold, this will help our learning environment as both students and teachers won’t be distracted on trying to warm up, or in some cases make it cooler in the classroom.
