Every year thousands of students under go one of the most important exams in their lives. Due to this need and importance in the future it is important that each and every individual doing this exam does their best. Not only for themselves but for the community, the future and their parents. This can cause a lot of pressure because they want to perform at their highest level.

Sakina Mustafa of class year 13 explained ‘ it was a very important time, I would go home every day and battle my books until I was completely satisfied with the amount of work put in. these exams can be extremely exhausting as you would need to do your best at each one. And personally I only did 10 GCSE’s and found it quite extreme. But all the hard work and the late nights pay off after you get your results in August, especially to see the high grades and cheerful peers.’ Moreover, as less than a 2 week left for students they are undergoing mental stress and anxiety which is not good at this time and last minute revision and stress is affecting their health and ability to perform. Also a – level and AS level students need to hand in their coursework and need to prepare for an important exam before university as these marks determine if they get a good University.
