Across the last three days the local area of Epping Forest has seen beautiful rays of sunshine and high temperatures that would be likened to mid-July. These clear blue skies and high humidity levels have been pleasing to the majority of the locals, allowing them and their families to enjoy ice cream and even sunbathing in some instances, however should these unpredictable changes be cause for concern among the public due to the connotations of tropical weather during April and sub-zero temperatures with the possibility of snow just last month in March.

From April the 18th to 22nd Epping Forest and southern England saw highs of 24 degrees Celsius when the average is usually around 14 degrees Celsius. This 10-degree difference should be major cause for concern in Parliament and Buckingham palace as it should be a clear indication towards the problems that come with climate change. This is even further emphasised by the incredibly low temperatures seen in March in comparison to the months average, a fluctuation of this capacity should be incredibly disconcerting to not just Great Britain’s leaders but also the general population and should spur them on to pay their own contribution to a global effort which must take place. Not for this generation perhaps but future generations. In order for change to occur and help the Earth return to a natural healthy state both parties must come together and work in unison, despite this it appears that no discussion of this has been arose by either the Public or Parliament.
