With exam season just around the corner, students all over the country are pulling their hair out in stress. Many of us revise over of flashcards, write out our notes, read, read again, read once more - 'Why can't I just remember?!'

The feeling is undoubtedly stressful and tiring. It feels like there is too much to do and too little time, and it’s not just the kids doing GCSEs, A - Levels, kids as young as ten are feeling pressured about their grades, worried that if they don't well they won't have a great future. Surely, they should be enjoying these summer days at the park, running about with friends. Nonetheless, stress is inevitable with regard to exams, and some of us feel helpless. Here are some tips to rejuvenate and get those nerves in order.

1. Get the right amount of sleep. If you don't know how much you should be getting refer to 'Do you get enough sleep? - Anjali Narbheram, Woodford County High School for Girls' to find out. This will help you feel refreshed and you will find that you're taking in your revision far better than before.

2. Eat! Make sure to have your three meals a day, the healthier the better but if you feel like having an ice cream on a hot summer's day, go for it! It is fine to enjoy yourself once in a while!

3. Break revision up into manageable chunks, this way you are able to retain information better and are able to be more productive.

4. Spend some time with family and friends, you can release some stress by enjoying some quality time with those near and dear.

5. Try different forms of revision, sure, there's the classic note-taking and past papers, but you can also watch documentaries, make flashcards, mind-maps, quiz yourself! This way, variety makes the process far less boring.

6. Stay refreshed by exercising, a quick swim or run can wake you up and have you ready to take on the day, with your heart pumping and ready to go and conquer that horrific maths paper lying on your desk.

7. Stay hydrated, water will keep you awake it also means that brain of yours will work better and so your quality of work will be far better.

8. Go outside and revise! Being in the Sun, and amongst nature may calm you and it makes sure you are rid of distractions that you may find in your home, such as the TV shows you really want to binge watch, the five minute scroll on Instagram that ends up taking about an hour instead, that really cool videogame that your Dad just bought for you, it sounds tempting, but if you succumb you will ultimately feel far more stressed thereafter, so get rid of those distractions by going outside!

9. Get rid of that phone! Give it away to your parents to keep on them, put in a drawer far away from where you revise, switch if off - whatever works for you just get rid of it!

10. Remember, it will be done soon! You will do as best as you can, so long as you have tried your best and then you can just relax and enjoy life! So, don't worry, this won't be forever!

The tips presented do not just tell you to relax in order to be less stressed but provide you with the necessary tips needed to make sure you feel like the quality of your revision is good enough so that you don't stress that you haven't done as great, or worked as hard as you could. Good luck!
