TikTok megastars ‘The Hype House’ have just announced a new Netflix project.
News comes after Netflix dropped a short video on their TikTok account labelled ‘thehypehouse is coming to Netflix,’ with Imagine Dragons’ ‘follow you’ playing in the background. The HypeHouse have nearly 20 million followers on TikTok and 615 million likes on their account so many were ecstatic for the announcement.
However many were not pleased with the announcement. Many videos began ranking in views making fun of the project or telling people to boycott it. Even on the announcement video many of the comments were negative. Such things as ‘Hey alexa cancel my Netflix subscription’, ‘April fools day was 20 days ago’ and ‘can we all agree to give it a thumbs down when it comes out’.
Although it’s announcement had many critics, many are still looking forward to this project.
