Current champions of the English Premier League, L.F.C, have recently not been winning their games in the past few weeks.

For the record, Liverpool have not won the Premier League since 1989-1990, until last year 2020.

But as of the start of this new season, Liverpool had suffered the loss of their main defender, Virgil Van Dijk, and currently have Joel Matip, Fabinho, Diogo Jota all on injury that occured before the new year.

But, as they have Thiago back from injury, they have started to get back into their games, winning their most recent game against West Ham United 3-1, on the 31st January 2021.

As of them being knocked out of the FA cup by their biggest rivals Manchester United, who are currently one place above Liverpool in second place, they must get back into the season and their games and start competing for the title, and start earning more points.

With one of their biggest matches coming up on the 7th of February,2021 against Manchester City, they will need to win this to ramp up to second place, and knock down Manchester United down to third, if they lose their next match.

So, with that all put into consideration, will Liverpool hold their place as current champions of England?
