Are you looking for a great day out? Greenwich is the ideal place, somewhere you can go for a few hours or even the entire day. Take along your dog, family and friends and set up a picnic or grab lunch at Greenwich Market. Especially around Christmas time, the Market looks amazing with all the lights and delicious food. It is open 7 days a week! From 10 am-5:30 pm, you can go check out the stalls of fantastic food, jewellery, crafts, fashion and many more interesting products.

Quoted by Holly Collins: “I like Greenwich because it’s a very scenic area with cute restaurants and cafes nearby, it is perfect for long autumn walks with friends and family”.

During Lockdown I spent the day there with a friend and took these photos of the sunset that settled into the darkness. We had a wonderful day as we wrapped up warm on a cold day in November, and brought hot chocolates to keep our hands warm as we strolled around Cutty Sark and headed back to the top of the hill in the evening. I cannot urge you enough to visit!

Greenwich Park is a terrific place for a catch up with family or friends, with its easily accessible methods of transport via bus and train or with its multiple parking spaces if you prefer to drive. When Lockdown is over, Greenwich is the perfect place for entertainment when there is reopening of theatres, museums, pubs, restaurants, all public venues. So, start booking now! And get excited because I guarantee you will love it. Here are some links to places in Greenwich that you can book and visit:
