Yesterday a dad from Sutton was arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a security officer at an Egyptian airport.

Tony Camoccio, 51, was taken by police in Egypt for, patting a man on the back, attempting to say thank you. He was on holiday with 17 other Britons. A friend claimed he was wrongly detained, whilst others explained it was an extremely ‘silly’ misunderstanding.

His wife Joan, 53, and Remo, 26, have remained in Egypt and are appealing for his release to local authorities. Other family friends explained how it was a quick and speedy occurrence and he was taken straight away.

This story is shocking and unexpected but it goes to show what bizarre things happen in this world we live in. Tony is expected to be released in the coming days, I’m sure he won’t be thanking any security guards by patting them on the back for a long time!
