In an ideal world, there would be no war and there would be no discrimination. However, this is not an ideal world. To prove it we are currently confined to our homes, with nothing but our technology, and our minds, as weak as our minds may be. All our brains seem to be able to communicate to our bodies at the moment is tik tok dances and boredom challenges. The build up of sloth-like teenagers that have converted to basically worshipping these apps is insane. They near enough dedicate their lives to the cause. They’ve learned the same dances that every other person is doing, and believe that they are making themselves ‘individuals’ by doing so.

Apps like this, as fun as they may seem, hold back our development into the future. Many people say that the 20th century was not as fun as the 21st  due to the lack of technology and the abundance of actually being able to diversify yourself. However what did they achieve in the 20th century? How many accomplishments did mankind do during those 100 years? To name one, they built today’s society. They saw that the world was bad and decided to make this one instead. They created the foundations for the world we live in. But we haven’t done the same. Instead we have left the world with nothing.

On the other hand, our lives would not quite be the same ,at the moment, without these apps. As I mentioned, we are all currently confined to our homes. If you don’t know this, you are either living under a rock, or you don’t pay much attention to people. The corona virus pandemic has spread global, forcing people to transfer from the physical to the digital world. Almost all outside communications comes from a small buzz in our phones. To have these apps on hand at a time of crisis had made is a lot easier to transfer to isolation. We have learnt just how vulnerable the world is at the moment. The human race, the species that has survived millions of years of evolution, with wars and diseases along the way, has been sent into blind panic by the information given to the world through screens. People have been given so much false information it is unbelievable. In January, the people on the internet were claiming that corona virus would never harm us. Now it is telling us to lock our doors and hide, and is shaming those who don’t, whilst also fear mongering with false videos of army vehicles and patrols on the street. To put it simply; you should not let these apps let your reality become bizzare.
