Rapper, singer and songwriter Aubrey Drake Graham, artistically known as Drake as returned to London after the success of his 2017 tour, Boy meets World tour, for seven sold-out shows at London’s O2 promoting his fifth studio album, Scorpion released earlier in June which peaked at a number 1 not only in the Billboard top 100 albums but also in the UK charts. The concert was made up of twenty-six songs not only from current and previous albums but also multiple covers from artists such as Travis Scott and Fetty Wap.

Doors to the venue opened circa six p.m. with the show starting at around seven thirty with Drake’s two headliners, Baka not Nice, fellow Canadian rapper signed to OVO sound the recording company started by Drake himself, and Daystar Peterson, a rapper better known as his stage name Tory Lanez. At 9pm Drake opened with his song 8 Out of 10 which reached number 19 on the Billboard music charts near the end of 2018.

“I think that it was one of the best experiences of my life,” said Charlie Sa Miranda who attended the show on the Wednesday. “I definitely think he’s one of the best live performers and anyone looking to go to concert should go see him.”
