When choosing which university to got to, most young adults set their standards low. 'Oxbridge' universities dont seem tobe the main priority from students coming from state school backgrounds. This is possibly due to the high expectations and standards of these universities. The constant pressure put amongst young adults may sometimes seem overwhelmimg. And even possibly encourage them not to take the leap.

I recently came across an interview on 'GMB' expressing how an East London State school managed to secure 41 Oxbridge offers. To my surprise 59.2% of students at Oxford were from state schools in 2018. This is  nearly 5% increaes from last years stats.
