The beginning of 2019 has witnessed a very cold and dark start to a new year. Many people have found this first month difficult to get through due to the harsh conditions in the weather and days being too short. However, 2019 has already made a strong start with entertainment such as films. This year has only just begun and has already offered films such as “Glass” directed by M. night Shyamalan, “The kid who would become kid” directed by Joe Cornish and “A dogs way home” directed by Charles Martin Smith. All films have received positive feedback from audiences and have shown what the film industry is able to offer this year.

This year still has many films planned for release, for many different types of audiences. This includes films for children such as “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part”, “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World”, live action remake of “Dumbo”, live action remake of “The Lion King”, “Toy Story 4”, “Frozen 2”, “Sonic the Hedgehog” and many more. The industry has a very strong line up of films for younger audiences. However, they are also planning to release “Avengers: Endgame”, “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, “Captain Marvel” for comic book fans and films such as “Star Wars Episode IX”, “Godzilla: The King of the Monsters” and John Wick Chapter 3” for fans of action films. Then there are films such as “It Chapter 2” for some older audiences and fans of horror.
