Christians have a moral duty to eat food that is not the result of undue suffering, unjust treatment or human intended premature death of sentient beings who are clearly interested in avoiding suffering. However there are no theological objections to eating meeat since God has given humans dominion over the rest of the creation order and it is obviously fine as the Bible says ' Evrything that lives and moves about him will be food for you' ( Genesis 9:3) so God made animals for humans to eat.

Although Christians may also believe that God gave mankind 'Every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the Earth and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have then for food.' (Genesis 1.29) which some people could interpret the providing a vegetarian diet. On the other hand, according to Romans 14;2-3, Christians have the choice be meat eaters, vegetarians or vegans and they should also be sensitive to the belief of others around what they will eat. 'The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who doesn't, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them'. Most Christians eat meat and the Bible doesn't teach that it is wrong to eat meat.

In conclusion, people believe that you should have your own choices on what you eat.
