A new bagel shop in Brixton has recently been opened. It was opened last month and is called Bagel World. It’s a new business and the manager hopes for it to become a brand within six months. It was started as there weren’t many bagel shops in Brixton.

Qualities:

The shop prioritises on serving bagels but offer a varied menu consisting of Patties, Soup, Rice and Peas, and even a West Indian Corner. Bagel World has a very calm and peaceful environment with lovely music accommodating the enjoyable atmosphere at a volume that is neither too high nor low. The staff are very friendly as well as the manager. I bought a patty there and one of the staff members, Alejandro, offered a free glass of tap water to drink, which I accepted gratefully. The manager, Chris Ogleton, is a very friendly man who was very cooperative and gave a lot of information to write about.

Background:

Chris Ogleton had a background in catering. His specialty was West Indian Cuisine. As there weren’t many Bagel Shops in Brixton, Chris decided to open a bagel shop with a special West Indian twist.

Overall, I very strongly recommend that you take the time to visit. With a varied range of delicious cuisine and an enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff, Bagel World is definitely a restaurant that you don’t want to miss eating from.
