Many of the times when my mates and I walk down our area, we always see many people with many different styles of their own. But recently we have been noticing that many people have been using bigger labels to show a difference in them. We see people wear clothes from Primark but still look good but then we have people buying Gucci sliders or Nike tracksuits or Designer jeans. Are people trying to show off nowadays with wearing really expensive clothes or are they just wasting their money?
From my point of view, wearing designer clothing does not mean to show off with them. There are people who do not have enough money to buy clothes that are worth £300 or more. By showing off, i think it makes people who cannot afford these items feel very heartbroken or sad because they might want to get the new trends but do not have enough money for them.
If we compare the trainers we buy from stores that have prices from £20 - £50, and the stores that have prices from £60 - £150, there is no difference. The only difference is that one has a logo from a branded company that is well known and the other is just a hand made trainer. I believe it should not even matter if you wear the top brands or not, I believe you should be yourself and not copy one another because of the way they dress or look, be yourself.
