In our current lives, how many of us drink water on a daily or even any drinks? We drink these things because we are thirsty, right. What about all those people who sit outside on the streets, aren't they humans to, don't they get thirsty?!
We go around sharing our food with our mates because they don't have enough money on some days or a particular time, but these people who live in poverty, they never have enough money on many occasions, so why does nobody care to think about them as well? We have children living on the streets in Syria begging to stay alive, we have people who are over the age of 50 years holding up signs trying to grab our attention, even though they know we can see them and see what state they are in. That must hurt their hearts because i know for a fact that if it were us in their situation, we would feel devastated, and not just about ourselves but by our community. How do we live with ourselves knowing this is going on and we do not even think to help them.
Poverty has increased in London due to many things being too expensive for many people to buy. For instance, back in 2012, i remember coke cans being 55p per can, now they have become 80p, the average UK rent is £665 while tenants are getting paid more than a £1000 in London. I think we should focus more about the people in need than thinking about what we desire.
