Raven unknowingly went missing on Wednesday 31st October, around Mitcham. The owner reported that "she had just left the garden and didn't come back." This was also reportedly the first instance she had left the garden. Raven is a spayed female cat, approximately 2 years old, black-furred and has a few specks of white tipped hairs on her back and shoulders.
In the last 3 years, the number of pets stolen has increased by nearly a staggering 24%.
Furthermore, according to some research done in 2016, at least five of our furry four-legged friends go missing in the UK every single day. It's to no surprise that these figures have most likely increased to this current day.
Reports of animals being missing are widespread across the UK and are even evident locally within the Mitcham area.
The owner also reported, "it would be really nice to have her back home, where she belongs."
