As the autumn season is drawing to and end and winter is almost upon us, shops and cafés have been decorating their walls with tinsel, baubles, and much more. Some food or drink based shops are even beginning to sell holiday season themed items.

One in particular is Costa Coffee who are beginning to sell new drinks for the upcoming Christmas and New year months. A favourite is the Caramelized Orange and Cream Hot Chocolate which tastes even better than it sounds unbelievably. There's also the Hazelnut Praline and cream which is a matter with hazelnut syrup and chocolate sauce; the Winter Roast, a drink of winter berries and cinnamon; the Gingerbread Latte. They also sell sweet foods for Christmas like Yule log and Wreath cake.

Another public favourite cafe / coffee shop is of course Starbucks Coffee. Some of the drinks they have brought back are; Caramel Brulee Latte, espresso with caramel brulee sauce; Chestnut Praline Latte, chocolate flavour espresso infused with seasonal chestnut; Fudge Hot Chocolate, delicious chocolate blend, topped with cream and golden white chocolate curls; Eggnog Latte, real eggnog mixed with a dash of milk and topped off with some nutmeg.; Gingerbread Latte, shots of gingerbread syrup topped with nutmeg; Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate, almond syrup with swirls of mocha and honey drizzles; Peppermint Mocha, peppermint syrup with festive red sprinkles; and the Toffee Nut Latte.

They also have brought back our holiday snack food favourites such as Turkey Panini, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, Gingerbread Loaf, and Cranberry Bliss Bar. These are just a few of the examples that Starbucks Coffee offer for holiday festive foods, of course you’d have to try them to find out.

My mother tried the Gingerbread Latte from Costa and she said that “it gave me all the flavours of christmas and a winter warmer, and I’ll definitely be getting another one when passing tomorrow.”
