Bocketts Farm in Leatherhead looks although it has transformed from a children’s play area, into a mothers’ fighting ground.

This comes after a physical fight, that broke out between two mothers in the farm’s soft play area, resulted in one of the manic mothers needing medical attention.

Surrey Police reported that the incident took place at around 2.15pm on Friday October 26th at Bocketts Farm in Young Street, Leatherhead.

The bust up was held in a local children’s farm; Bocketts Farm. The locally well-known farm was opened in 1992 and remains a family run business to this day.  The farm is normally known for its high-flying reviews, for example, a recent visitor praised the place, stating: “Bocketts farm is a perfect place to spend time with your little one(s). We love the animals and the staff are always at the ready to help us in many ways.”

However, not even the cows could predict what would occur on match day…

The mother’s match kicked off with round one: a “verbal altercation”, consisting of one mother claiming that her child had been hurt by her opponent’s son.

Round two: the fight. The mothers’ meeting turned violent,

The results: one of the ferocious fighters has had to undergo surgery after being left, injured, with a torn ligament in her thumb. Seems like she needs some training before her next children’s farm fight.

An investigation is underway and enquiries remain ongoing, with police are currently appealing for witnesses of the incident to get in touch. If you have any information, don’t hesitate to report it to Surrey Police.

Thankfully Bocketts Farm is now deemed safe and children can go back to playing, and feeding the many animals that the site holds, without fear of the wrestling champions returning.
