An opportunity has come up for us once again, and this time we will be able to show what we want.
Corbyn stated that he was ready to “start the work of rebuilding our divided country”, and this provided a bright ray of hope for the many people that stand against a no-deal Brexit as they believe it would result in mayhem and unprecedented madness.
While giving this rousing speech, Mr Corbyn received no fewer than 10 standing ovations, but he was met with the biggest reaction when he announced that Labour would press for a general election, and taunted Theresa May and the Conservative Party by saying that they should make way for Labour.
During his speech to the Labour Party conference in Liverpool yesterday, Mr Corbyn adopted an almost conciliatory tone, saying: “Let me also reach out to the Prime Minister, who is currently doing the negotiating. Brexit is about the future of our country and our vital interests. It is not about leadership squabbles or parliamentary posturing. If you deliver a deal that includes a customs union and no hard border in Ireland, if you protect jobs, people’s rights at work and environmental and consumer standards – then we will support that sensible deal. A deal that would be backed by most of the business world and trade unions too.”
The speech moved many people, who will most likely contribute to his cause, and further help the growth of Britain as we leave the EU, giving us a better future than we would have with the current deal, a no-deal Brexit. Now people will think twice about what they will vote for after seeing the effects of the first referendum.
