Nina Naustdal’s amazing fashion show during London Fashion Week was held on Tuesday 21st February and saw her showcasing her stunning AW17 collection at Buddha Bar Restaurant in Knightsbridge.

The luxury lifestyle brand, which creates high-end Couture and ready-to-wear Womenswear as well as Jewellery, Accessories, Bridal and Childrenswear was launched by Nina Naustdal in May 2011 with the opening of a boutique in Chelsea but now six years later, she works by appointment only from her showroom.

This year her stunning AW17 collection debuted with bang with striking yet feminine dresses on the catwalk as well as help in the modelling department for Childrenswear from Naustdal’s young children and their family Chihuahuas. The show began with a captivating dance performance set to Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’ by model and presenter Diana Ellis Jones and a partner and was shortly followed by an impressive although sadly brief opera performance which preceded Naustdal’s designs. The DJ Miles Ottoway then set the mood for the rest of the evening with some poppy beats....and the show began!

A variation of colorful, intricate designs followed each other in succession, ranging from an elegant black sheath dress to a gorgeous flowing dress of the softest shade of green, although my personal favourite was an embellished light blue dress with a tulle train that although was part of this year’s Autum/Winter Collection, had a very summery feel to it. The finale was breathtaking as we were able to see most of the collection one final time and admire the detail in each piece before the evening ended.

All in all, the show was very well organised and carried out and the beautiful collection made it into a memorable evening.
