To begin, make sure that you have created a balanced schedule. Despite how tempting it is to copy off of a template online, it’s much more effective if you build it around your daily routine and around how often you think is right to study. This means allowing yourself to have regular breaks between study sessions. Many people feel that they must revise non stop to make sure that they get in as much studying as they can, but this is the total opposite of what should be done! Having breaks leaves you enough time to give your brain a break, fuel your body with some snacks, entertain yourself with an episode of your favourite tv show, or whatever else you feel is right! 

 

Next, always have a motivation! Whether this is to get closer to your dream career or even just be over and done with your exams, to enjoy the summer, having this goal will let you keep going and give you some strength to not give up!

 

Finally, never forget to seek support when you need it. When I was preparing for my exams, I experienced lots of overwhelming pressure and what added onto this was the fact that I didn’t ask anyone to help me get through it! Teachers, parents, siblings or friends can all help you to relieve some of your stress and manage it better. By doing this, you will already feel a huge weight lift off of your shoulders and give you a healthier mindset to keep on studying effectively!
