Benrahma has claimed that his future lay with Brentford amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

The Algerian playmaker is in the form of his life, with eight league goals and five assists this season, with at least 15 Championship games to go.

Benrahma is in his season at Brentford after his transfer from Nice in July 2018.

The player is part of the revered ‘BMW’ front three, which consists of Benrahma, Mbuemo and Watkins.

Although there were no reported bids for the player in the January transfer window, it is inevitable that a number of clubs will be trying to acquire his signature come the summer.

Leicester City and Newcastle United are the latest Premier League clubs to be linked with the player, but Benrahma has insisted that he is very much focused on Brentford.

“I am very focused on Brentford. At the moment, we keep winning and we are in a great position in the league”, he said.

When asked what his ambition was as a player, Benrahma explained that the Premier League is his ultimate goal as a player.

“My ambition is to play in the Premier League. But at the moment, I will continue and progress playing my football at Brentford”.

Whether Benrahma achieves his goal of playing in the Premier League at Brentford or with a bigger club, is a question which remains to be answered, but there is no doubt that the Algerian is a bright prospect with a big future ahead of him.
