Scott Parker is reportedly set to start for England in their Euro 2012 opener with France later today.
The Spurs midfielder is expected to join Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard in midfield, while Arsenal youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also thought to have made the starting XI.
England begin their campaign in Donetsk when they take on France who are under the stewardship of former Manchester United defender Laurent Blanc.
Les Bleus are considered one of the favourites to win the competition and will provide stiff opposition for the Three Lions tonight.
The other match in Group D sees co-hosts Ukraine take on Sweden in Kiev.
