All the top teams remain on course in their respective divisions with impressive wins in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance this week.

In the Elite League the Pickwick enjoyed a healthy home win against Riley’s Rovers.

Fresh from the Rover’s eye brow raising win last week, the Pickwick made sure there was to be no repeat, as firstly Dean James and then Paul Gafa’ hammered home blacks to record hat tricks as the Rovers succumbed to a 3-0 set and 10-5 frame defeat.

In what was the most eye catching fixture of the evening, Riley’s Woolwich bounced back to form against O’Connors with a 2-1 and 10-5 victory to remain in second spot, 2 points adrift of the Pickwick, whilst O’Connors fell seven points adrift of the leaders.

Brockleians thumped Royal Oak away with Andre Cox and Danny Kelleher doing the majority of the damage, winning all their frames in a solid 3-0 and 11-4 away success to ensure that they stay in the hunt for the title.

In the relegation dogfight it was honours shared as although Brockleians Choppers won 2-1 in sets, they lost in frames, thanks to Steve Cole winning all 3 of his frames, and the Fox Under The Hill rallied to win the last 4 frames of the evening to recover the match on frames 8-7.

Both teams shared the spoils with 2 points each.

In Tier 2 West, Adam Coppen could not beaten as he cleared from the most unlikely position to ensure Riley’s A remain clear at the summit as they overcame Bellegrove Social Club A 3-0.

Team mates Joe Kane, Naftali Ayieko and James Sheed chipped in with a brace each, although for Sheed this was somewhat of a disappointment.

His personal loss was his first of the season, a remarkable achievement.

The Rack Pack sit comfortable in second place after another win, beating Beech Tree Nuthouse 2-1 and 9-6 in frames.

The Rack Pack tore into the Beech Tree during the middle part of the match winning seven frames in a row to sweep them aside, aided with trio from Nick Gillet.

With Erith Snooker having a walkover in their encounter with New Eltham Social Club, White Hart chasing in second spot came a cropper at Bellegrove Social Club B.

Although they lost 2-1 in sets their 8-7 frames win gained them a valuable bonus point.

Our Lady of the Rosary beat Leather Bottle 2-1 to leap frog their opponents and climb to fourth place.

Greenwich Town Social Club smashed Quid Pro Cue 11-1 in frames to sit proudly on top of the Reserve League, with just two matches gone.

Pickwick Academicals won narrowly 7-5 at the home of the Boston Crabs, with Rob Snookes and Gary Mason hungry for the crustaceans, and move into second.
