The Jolly Fenman’s huge 13-2 win at the Coach & Horses sees them close the gap at the top in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance premier division.

The leaders Hotshots won a close contest 9-6 at the Pickwick.

New signing Rob Chalmers provided the difference between the two teams, not losing all night whilst Rod Altes conjured up pure magic in frame 8 to win from an impossible position.

The Beehive push into third spot with a 9-6 win of their own at the Catholic Club.

Billy Dolby proved he can hold a cue, finishing off an important frame with a tasty double to get on the black.

The George IV seem to have come to life.

Last season’s champions are beginning to climb the table with a 11-4 success at the Fox Under The Hill, and Riley’s made sure that they don’t get sucked down into the relegation quagmire, beating the Summerfield by 9 frames to 6.

In the battle of the kings, it was the Kings Arms who edged out King William IV by the odd frame to inflict the William’s only defeat of the season, in the first division. They remain top however, as the Blue Anchor had a similar score line at the Bellegrove Social Club, with both teams jostling for positions at the top of the table. Gallies move into third after their 9-6 home victory against the Eagle Tavern, and the Angerstein Hotel are acclimatising quite nicely to pool in the SLKPA with another home win against Riley’s Royals.

Teams are always welcome into the SLKPA with matches played on Thursday evenings.
