The Hotshots look like they really mean business this season in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance.

Another big win this week, 13-2 against the Summerfield, sees them pull away at the top by six points even at this early stage of the season.

The Jolly Fenman lead the charge to hunt them down with another impressive display. The George IV were on the end of an 11-4 hiding, and ordinarily this would put the Fenman on top of the table had it not been for such a great start by the Hotshots.

The Beehive are third.

Tony Frost and Alex Thompson won three out of three frames and Robin Gibbs chipped in with an impressive total clearance as they out foxed the Fox Under The Hill 11-4.

Woolwich Catholic Club found their feet in the premier division, with their first win of the season, 9-6 against the Coach & Horses.

New recruit James Sheed dazzled for the Pickwick as the home side had a tough 9-6 win versus Riley’s.

The first division is no less competitive.

The Bellegrove Social Club, Blue Anchor and King William IV have all started well and remain undefeated.

The Bellegrove sit on top of the pile.

Gary Cufley produced a fine clear up as they destroyed near neighbours the Eagle Tavern 12-3.

The Blue Anchor were in no mood for mercy as they despatched Riley’s Royals 13-2 and the King William won the local derby match against the Ship & Billet 11-4. Elsewhere, Gallies got their season going by beating the Angerstein Hotel at home 12-3.
