THE top two teams in the Elite League in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance had identical results so theres no change.

Both the Hotshots and George IV A won 2-1 against the Pickwick and Summerfield respectively.

Reliable anchor man, Tony Bailey once again delivered the goods to keep Hotshots top in the final frame of the evening.

The nail biting action at the bottom of the Elite League continued this week, with the Beehive winning a vital match at the Fox Under The Hill 2-1 keeping them out of the relegation zone and leaving the Fox with a lot to do avoid the drop.

The improving Jolly Fenman are gaining momentum just at the right time.

Their 2-1 win at home to Our Lady of the Rosary sees them now within sight of safety.

In Tier 2 East the Great Harry slipped up at home as the Blue Anchor upset the form books recording a 2-1 win, and with the Railway Club Boys convincing win at the bottom the title is wide open again.

The Bellegrove Social Club moved onto the fringes of the promotion race with a 3-0 at the Eagle Tavern.

George IV B and the Coach & Horses plough on in Tier 2 West, demolishing all before them.

Both teams won 3-0 and it seems only the outcome when these two teams next meet, will decide who are crowned champions.

As for the chasing pack, you can through a blanket over third place to seventh, with each team defeating the other.

Lee Green Constitutional Club and Gallies both won away 3-0 to rise up the table to third and fourth spot.

The registration window is now open for any new teams wishing to join the SLKPA with matches played on Thursday evenings.
