International duo Ben Earl and Nick Tompkins are back in Saracens’ starting XV for the trip to Northampton Saints this weekend.

The pair have both made their Test debuts during the ongoing 2020 Six Nations, Earl for England and Tompkins for Wales, and now return to boost a Sarries side looking to bounce back from a 60-10 defeat at Wasps last time out.

Earl will start at openside flanker with Tompkins taking the inside centre berth.

Saracens also welcome back Will Skelton, available again after from a four-week suspension to partner Callum Hunter-Hill in the second row, while USA prop Titi Lamositele replaces Springbok Vincent Koch at tighthead.

In the backs, Mark McCall has opted for the experience of Richard Wigglesworth at scrum-half and the youth of Rotimi Segun on the wing.

Saturday’s hosts Northampton also enter this weekend’s game off the back of a heavy defeat following last Sunday’s 57-7 reverse at Exeter Chiefs.

The Saints have lost their three Premiership matches in all but are out to complete a first league double over Saracens since 2014/15, having won a thrilling contest 27-25 at Allianz Park on the opening weekend of the season.

Kick-off at Franklin's Gardens is at 3pm.
