Waltham Forest Hockey Club is on the hunt for new players ahead of the coming 2019/20 season. The club is keen to find a goalkeeper to join one of their five men’s teams, as well as male and female players to boost numbers across the club, with a view to creating new teams.

The Mens' first team plays in the Mens' Hockey League East Premier B Division and will be pushing for promotion - an aspiration that has been boosted by a significant summer development. As of this season, all Mens' 1s home games and training sessions will take place on the Olympic-standard water-based astroturf at the Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre, in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Additionally, the summer’s ABC (Adult Beginner Course) sessions have now finished and were a resounding success. The club expects to bring on the equivalent of an entire team in terms of new players. This would help Forest create an entirely new side and the club is looking for more new players to join any of the existing four ladies’ or five men’s sides to help make this happen.
