A martial arts school in Enfield was visited by an Olympic judoka as it held its end of year presentation and competition.
Five Pillars Taekwon-Do at Enfield Lock Martial Arts School hosted Dr Emmanuel Nartey, who represented Ghana at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, as the Winter Inter-School competition took place.
More than 100 people attended the competition, with participants ranging from as young as four years old, to teenagers and veterans over 50 taking part in the club's final major event of the year.
Dr Nartey closed the competition and presented awards to winners Sohaib Sirhan, Daniel Chiu, Ali Bougrine, Zakaria Bentouati, Ormazd Shahin, Imran Siddiqi, Ayla Erol, Muhammad Ayman, Amelie Man, Asya Yazli, Desmond Crossley and Musah Kodjoe.
A special recognition of courage was given to Tyler Crossley, who won his competition round, despite being injured.
