Orpington's Martin Hillman is very keen to get another crack at Southern area title, writes Ziad Chaudry.

The 27-year-old super-bantamweight got back to winning ways at York Hall, Bethnal Green, last Saturday with a comfortable four rounds points success over Leeds' Russell Midgley.

Back in July in Bristol, Hillman failed in his third attempt at a third weight class to claim the Southern after losing a close 97-96 ten round points decision to hometown favourite Duane Winters.

Bromley FC fan Hillman clearly felt the decision should have went his way.

"We thought we clearly won it," he said.

"We felt last time I was on the road like the away fighter. It went one point to the other fighter so I'm hoping to rebuild and get another shot at that title hopefully by the end of the year or next year, that's the aim."
