A couple months ago, I decided to write an article on the NFL draft system for first time fans, as well as including some predictions on how the antics of the leagues general manager would play out. In hindsight, I must admit I did play it a bit safe but maybe that was me just getting lucky. Anyways, I wanted to follow up and write about what happened over the last 3 days in the world of the NFL draft.

This truly is a Quarterback first league

When initially seeing this year's draft class many knew that there was talent, but 6 quarterbacks taken in the top twelve is just madness. Evidently the Atlanta falcons were a just a little confused as immediately after signing long time starter for the Minnesota Vikings to a 4 year, 180-million-dollar contract, they spend their eighth overall pick on another quarterback! Luckily for my predictions Caleb williams went first overall to the Chicago bears, who made in my opinion one of the best double combinations in the first round by pairing him up with Rome Odunze at number 9 overall.

Marvin Harrison Jr is the piece the cardinals need

Previously I mocked Harrison to either the cardinals or the patriots and I got this one correct as well, with Harrison going to the cardinals, it should give Kyler Murray and the offense just the spark they need to maybe contend for the playoffs.

Only One tight end selected

At last, my perfect run comes to an end... Brock bowers, the third player I spoke about before was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders with pick 13, the jets and the broncos however drafted at 11 and 12 respectively. Still, the raiders have an inexperienced quarterback in 2nd year player Aiden O'Connell but a tall tight end with great hand makes this ordeal a lot easier in his first year as a starter.
