Since late 2021, Eastlea community school has had an incredible netball team made of 10 talented young girls. They have proven themselves to the coach that they should be a part of the team and are now very dedicated to their positions aswell as their ranking in the seasons. Eastlea allowed them to participate in many tournaments and matches around schools in Newham which resulted to them becoming talented.

For the past 2 years, playing netball has brought joy to the young girls, who enjoy doing a sport and having fun with their peers. Netball has bought these girls together and created new friendships that led to success as they also practice weekly, wednesday from 3:15 to 4:15 and friday at early 8:00am and finishes at 8:30am just as scool is about to open. All the girls present themselves and sometimes many more care to join in for the fun.

The netball captain Chantel Acquah, states "I feel like the netball team is a way for girls in Eastlea Community School to come together and unite as one". It is clear the girls are very passionate about their sport and are willing to do anything for the victory but most importantly having fun. This is a great opportunity for young girls to enjoy themselves.

There will be upcoming matches in February to allow the girls to compete with other teams and secure a good ranking in the season and many rewards from the school to allow them to celebrate their success and victories.
