JOSH DAVISON has pasted a farewell message to Charlton fans.

The striker left the club after completing a move to AFC Wimbledon, where he will link up with former manager Johnnie Jackson.

The 22-year-old made 35 appearances for the club after joining from Enfield Town, during the 2019/20 season.

On Instagram, he wrote: “Thank you @cafcofficial for the past 3 years.

“Giving me the chance, as a young man from non-league to play professional football which I’ve dreamed of since a kid.

“Thanks to the fans that stuck by me and all the staff that have had input into making me who I am today.

“I am forever grateful and have made some special memories I’ll never forget and met some special people along the way.

“All the best! JD.”

Davison will be competing with Kyle Hudlin and Zach Robinson in Wimbledon's attack as he and the club aim for promotion back into League One.
