WEST BROM are looking at the free-agent market ahead of the summer transfer window and the Lions attacker Jed Wallace is reportedly viewed as attainable by the club.

Wallace is set to leave The Den as his contract is due to expire and with each day that passes the likelihood of him leaving gets closer to becoming a reality.

The Baggies suffered a huge drop off during the last campaign, with the club eventually finishing in 10th place despite looking like favourites to win promotion back to the Premier League.

Manager Steve Bruce wants to strengthen his side ahead of the next season, in order to make sure that it does not happen again and according to The Athletic, he is looking at bringing in some free agents to help the club reach its targets.

Millwall man Wallace is one of the players that is believed to be at the top of West Brom's wanted list.

However, according to the report, the Baggies will face competition from other Championship clubs as well as interest from Turkey.

Wallace was at the centre of a transfer saga during the January transfer window as Steve Cooper's Nottingham Forest tried to sign him all month long.

Wallace ended up staying at The Den, but an exit from the club is starting to become inevitable.

The Baggies have also been linked with Reading's John Swift and Derby County's Tom Lawrence.
