ADDICKS winger Charlie Kirk is still reportedly attracting interest from Blackpool after the end of his loan spell.

Kirk spent the second half of the season on loan at The Seasiders after moving to the club on loan in January, making nine appearances and racking up three assists for the Championship side.

The 24-year-old's deal with Blackpool included an option to make the switch permanent.

According to London News Online, Blackpool could try to renegotiate the fee for the winger, who failed to break into the Charlton team under managers Nigel Adkins and Johnnie Jackson.

Kirk joined Charlton from Crewe Alexandra last summer after the club activated his release clause of around £500,000.

Upon moving to The Valley, Kirk signed a deal that would last until 2025 and would go on to make 14 appearances for the club, assisting three goals in all competitions.

Blackpool manager Neil Critchley is a fan of the left-sided player and was full of praise for him when he made the loan move to the club.

In January, he said: "Charlie is a player I have known for some time, and I've kept a close eye on his development and career.

"He broke into Crewe's first team at a young age and has gained a lot of experience. He was fantastic in League One last season.

"He's a good character who will fit in well with the rest of the group. I'm delighted to be working with him again."
