After losing three consecutive games at Stamford bridge, the blues finally score a last-minute goal with a clean sheet in a London derby match remaining third on the premiere league table. The Sunday afternoon match came to a 1-0 win with Christian Pulisic scoring in the 90th minute just 14 minutes after being subbed on.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in an interview, claims "It was very good for us, our mood, our belief." after the blues recently had poor games on home turf. He also mentioned the absence of defender Reece James was due to a 'feeling of discomfort' and is the reason why he missed the Premier League clash with West Ham.

Romelo Lukaku was fouled by West Ham United's defender Craig Dawson confirmed in a VAR check giving away a needed penalty to the blues. Midfielder Jorginho's effort in taking a penalty resulted in west ham goalkeeper Fabianski saving it in the 87th minute.

Tuchel made a few changes subbing off striker Timo Werner and subbing on Pulisic. This led to him scoring a bottom corner goal with an assist from left wing-back Marcos Alonso for the Premier League win over West Ham United. The Spaniard won his first man of the match award of the season after his strong efforts against the West Ham clash yesterday.

This is now Christian Pulisic's seventh goal of the season. In an interview he stated, 'I needed to come in and make a difference, prove I want to be playing and I am happy I did that.' He then added 'West Ham defended very well'. 'Scoring the game winner felt really good especially here at home (Stamford Bridge)' boasted the American. He also commented 'We needed a home win, in front of our fans. Some big games and then the FA cup final to come, it's a good boost.'
