EAGLES boss Patrick Vieira has admitted his side did not perform well during their defeat to Leicester City.
First-half strikes from Ademola Lookman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall settled the game in favour of the Foxes, despite Palace grabbing one goal back from Wilfried Zaha.
The forward did net past Kasper Schmeichel via a rebound from his initially saved penalty.
Palace created very little during the game, with Jean Phillipe-Mateta the only other player to hit the target during the game.
Boss Vieira said: “The performance, in the first half, Leicester were the better team and they started with better intentions. We didn’t take enough risks to find our midfield three.
“We didn’t compete well enough, and they were more aggressive. In the second half we created some chances but it was too much for us to climb.
“The difficulty was to concede the second goal just before half-time. It wasn’t a good performance from us overall.
“It’s important for me and the club to remain consistent with our emotions.
“There are still a lot of details we need to improve and some of that will come in time.”
Vieira and his side will now turn their attention to a massive FA Cup Semi-Final clash against Chelsea on Sunday.
