LIONS boss Gary Rowett has refused to comment on the reports surrounding midfielder Jed Wallace.
The 27-year-old has been widely tipped with a move to Steve Cooper's Nottingham Forest side.
Wallace has six months left of his contract and could leave the club for free at the end of the season if he does not renew.
Rowett is more concerned about getting his side into the top six of the Championship.
When asked about Wallace's move to Forest Rowett said: “I can’t speculate on any of those things.
“I’ve been quite clear on our stance, we don’t want to lose Jed but from a business aspect I understand for the club it’s not ideal if he goes for nothing in the summer.
“But if he helps us get in the top six the last four months of the season then that’s what happens.
“Nothing’s changed, really, on that in the last week. We haven’t had an offer that’s anywhere near the club’s valuation and that’s always the first step to any deal.
“Every player has a value.
“But nothing’s changed as far as I’m concerned.”
Wallace could be in contention to be in the team on Saturday in the match against his admirers Nottingham Forest.
