Here's how the Brentford players rated in their 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough.

David Raya: Was a spectator in the first half and in truth had little to do in the second half until he was forced to produce a fine save from close range to deny Lewis Wing. 7

Rico Henry: His pace came in handy to bail Dasilva out of jail when Boro threatened a counter. Made some searing runs forward but far to often it produced little in way of delivery. 6

Ethan Pinnock: Monstrous in the air and looking increasingly at ease with the ball at his feet. 8

Henrik Dalsgaard: Unfairly booked early in the first half leaving him walking a tightrope. Almost creating an opening for Toney after his tireless effort and ‘never give up’ attitude rescued a lost cause on the dead ball line. 6

Mads Bech Sorensen: Won every aerial duel but looked flustered on the ball. Too many times he looked to split the Boro defence but his efforts were easily cut out by a savvy Warnock defence. Made one superb interception late on to save Brentord's blushes. 8

Mathias Jensen: Very classy. Always looks comfortable on the ball and looks to play his way out of danger at every opportunity, with huge success. His weakness today was his dead ball delivery, far too many corners failed to miss the first man.7

Josh Dasilva: Brentford’s new crown jewel? His driving run in the first half kick started the Bees and it was he the side looked to for invention. Despite being closely hounded by the experienced Jonny Howson, the former Arsenal trainee looked a level above anyone else on the park in the opening 45. 8

Vitaly Janelt: Provided the grit in the middle that Dasilva and Jensen don’t possess. Broke up play well and proving to be an able replacement for the injured Norgaard. Maintained possession well and switched play frequently. Missed a glaring chance to open his account for the Bees. 6

Bryan Mbeumo: Lost possession frequently and was guilty of making the wrong decision with the final pass, often option for the aerial route to find Toney who was outmatched in the air. Still some way short of last season's form. 5

Sergi Canos: Forever a willing runner but far too often ran blindly down congested corridors. Yet to find his top form after a lengthy injury although there were glimpses that made him a fan favourite. 5

Ivan Toney: Had little service from those behind him. One chance in the first half the ball wouldn’t quite sit down for him leading to a skewed effort wide. Looks silky on the ball and oozes confidence. 6
