Beram Kayal's loan spell at Charlton has ended with the midfielder returning to parent club Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Israeli arrived on a season long loan at The Valley on deadline day in August but has struggled with injury during his time in SE7.
Kayal, 31, made six appearances for Lee Bowyer's side, his last coming in the 2-1 defeat to Millwall on November 9.
After undergoing groin surgery the player has returned to Birghton to contune his rehabiltation, opening up a vacancy for a loan signing if required.
Meanwhile, Joe Ledley has also left the club after his short-term contract came to an end. The club would like to thank both players for their time spent with Charlton and wish them all the best for the future.
