Here’s how the Charlton players rated in their 2-2 with West Brom.

Dillon Phillips 6

Skewed his first clearance and maybe could’ve done better for Zohore’s strike. Made a great save from Robson-Kanu early on, diving low and tipping wide of the post.

Adam Matthews 7

Looked composed on the ball and solid in defence. Got forward well and looked a threat down the right.

Tom Lockyer 7

Maybe too fired up for it. At fault for the opening, dawdling in possession when clearing his lines was needed. After that looked keen to make amends but at times it was in danger of boiling over. Did he enjoy scoring? I think he did.

Naby Sarr 6

Great aerial threat going forward as was evident in Davidson’s goal. Looked suspect at the back however and was guilty of diving in early leaving holes at the back. Couldn’t do much for the own-goal, but ask yourself, was it a huge surprise? That said, made one superb challenge to deny Charlie Austin when bearing down on goal.

Deji Oshilaja 7

Immense. Covered the whole backline and nearly superbly denied Zohore after Lockyer’s mistake. Won the ball both in the air and on the deck. A powerful performance.

Alfie Doughty 8

Played his way out of danger well and looking more like a seasoned professional every game. Going forward he looked a menace with his left foot, running at defences and delivering dangerous crosses. Surely a mainstay for Bowyer now.

This Is Local London:

Darren Pratley 8

Guided the incredibly young midfield well. Shielded the backline and stood up to the talnted Sawyers and Co in the Baggies midfield. The first half was a masterclass in the dark art, something the Addicks have been missing.

Andre Green 7

He has talent but still looks a little rusty. Confident on the ball and always looked to go past his man, occasionally when holding the ball up would’ve been the better option. That said, there’ll be plenty more form the Villa man.

Ben Dempsey 6

Quiet first half and wayward with the odd pass. Found the going tough against an experienced and talented midfield.

Connor Gallagher 6

Should’ve done better with his early chance, steering wide from the edge of the box. Linked play up well from midfield to attack.

Josh Davison 7

Took his chance. Stood up superbly to the powerful Semi Ajayi, winning free-kicks and more than his fair share of flick-ons. Held the ball up well and didn’t give the Baggies backline a moments rest. Thoroughly deserved his goal.

SUBS:

Jonny Williams 7

Added a business and energy to a midfield that was starting to tire.

Jake Forster-Caskey 6

Added some composure to the base o the midfield.
